It would be great if you could add support for the native IFU (In-Field Update) of the STM32 F4 like GHI Electronics did this in premium boards.

IFU makes this mcu serious usable for production with .net micro framework.

Comments: Ok. I try to use this method but I see one major problem. This not work. :( I add reference to MFUpdate.DLL and Microsoft.SPOT.Update to solution and run application in debug. App do nothing: ``` public class Program { public static void Main() { Debug.Print("Hi"); } } ``` When I run then I've got: "Found debugger!" ... Loading assemblies and... freeze. Nothing helps. To bring device back I must run MFDeploy and erase Deployment. Without debugger application do not start either. Is it porting kit issue? Regards

Comments: There is a prototype implementation of Microsoft's standard MFUpdate / Microbooter mechanism available here https://netmf4stm32.codeplex.com/SourceControl/changeset/view/3777efa40cf1 as a community contribution. See here http://download.codeplex.com/download?ProjectName=netmf&DownloadId=257831 for more information on MFUpdate. The author of this contribution would certainly welcome in-depth feedback and testing of the code!

It would be great if you could add support for the hardware watchdog of the STM32 F4. Hardware watchdog makes this mcu serious usable for production with .net micro framework.

Created Issue: Win8 STM32_WinUSB_drivers_(for_evaluation_purposes_only) not working? [10]

The USB driver seems not to work for Win8. Is there a workaround to get it running? The driver is not signed, so I installed it in extended boot mechanism. It was installed well. Plugging in the Discovery board I can see in MFDeploy very shortly - but then the driver is not present anymore. If I type the driver name in manually MFDeploy is telling me that the device is unkown.

Is there a workaround to get the driver running with WIN8 or is a driver available?

are messed up.

as mentioned in the discussion:
it looks like the spi clock edge is messed up.

on spi1 it just works if its false (wich my chip dont likes)

on spi3 its looks like its inverse (my chips workes when in software its set to false, he shouldnt work this way)
Comments: i found out these bug only happens when the spi frequenzy is at around 1mhz - at 2mhz everything is fine. sorry, i dont have a logic analizer, so i cant really test, but my devices are working fine with 2mhz frequenzy! (on sam7x boards they worked at 1mhz too ..) someone meantioned it could be also a frequenzy dividier bug

Comments: What do you mean with CANbus stack? Isn't it enough to wrap the CAN hardware from the STM32 and make it available for use in NETMF. Comments: I would love to see that as well, but for the foreseeable future we don't have the resources to do that. If anyone know of a (preferrably Apache 2.0 licensed) high-quality open source CANbus stack, please let me know! Cuno
